As with all changing things new books and maps and things will be produced in due time. It's like when the two Germany's reunified it took a few years to get things back up to date. Now as far as our kids it's kinda funny. I told my son at the begining of the year that I didn't feel Pluto was a planet when he started learning the system and we talked about it. The day before his test was when they announced the declassification and he laughted because he was the only one in the class to get the question right. As a teacher I don't think it's going t obe any harder to "relearn" the plant system and such then it has been for any other part of this world. The monitary issue though is hard. It's going to cost a lot to remake the books maps computer software anything that says Pluto is a planet but producing these items also make money and jobs so it balances in a lot of ways. Trust me it'll even out the schools won't run out and buy new books because of this one little thing when they are ready to replace the ones they have they will just as if nothing eles changed.
Remeber the world is ever changing and no matter what we try to do we'll never be totally up to date.

They'll just have to put an asterick next to it, like they will do with some baseball players.
