they should, and then get what they deserve for being cowards.

They're probably the people buying the "Beware of Owner" signs that show a gun. They want the protection, but not the guns. Great idea for the "gun free home" signs. I think they should all have one.

ALLEGHATOR has a good point if you leave your gun at home and not in a safe, the bad guys can get it. But here is your answer Alleghator...

ALWAYS carry it with you. So if they break into my work, or the school next door, I have my gun handy and it can be of use to defend me and others. That's the point the of the 2nd amendment. If I'm home my gun will be there. If I'm not, then it should be in a gun safe or with me.

There is never any guarantee how things will turn out, but maybe if the principal or a few teachers carried, these student killers could be put down before they hold a whole school hostage or kill to many people.

I would. Someone want to send me a nicely made, well-designed one? My house in unoccupied the vast majority of the time as we're all at work. And ... so are the homes of my neighbors when they're at work. Some of them might own guns. But, if you're not home during the break-in (which, the majority of the time ... you're not), what good does the gun in the nightstand do you? Except ... to be stolen by the criminals and providing them with a free weapon???

Wow, a minimum of you probably did not submit this in Spofrts/outside activities/searching. once the law enforcement officials start up disarming the drug gangsters that are illegally possessing guns (and causing lots of the gun deaths), and oldsters seek for psychiatric help for his or her toddlers, those docs placed the extremely extreme threats on the gun ban record, and college principals and team start up taking extreme action hostile to bullies, ANY gun administration regulations are only *moral panic* responses for the superior and hence least effective answer. Its getting to the purpose right here on the west coast the position the county sheriffs are filing proceedings to dam implementation of gun administration measures, easily writing to the legislature stating their motive to refuse to implement proposed regulations. ninety 9+% of gun vendors and their toddlers are secure, to blame gun vendors, no longer crazed killers. Why punish the vast majority for the movements of a tiny minority, highly at the same time as the law enforcement officials recognize who lots of the violent gun vendors are and do not bypass after their guns? Google US structure/ second modification, also DC v Heller.

Of course you can ask the reverse of gun advocates...would you have a sign in your neighborhood telling your friends, neighbors and strangers what level of fire power you had inside???

If not why??

Posting either sign is probably not too bright.

"Hey, let's rob this place. They don't have guns! It says so right on this sign!"
"OK, that sounds like a great idea!"

*sounds of glass breaking, people screaming, and two shots fired*

And, that is why, no one will put signs out on their porch declaring a gun free home!

I'm for Gun Control and I own guns. . . I believe your question is quite dumb. . .Would you prefer to live in a society that has no gun laws whatsoever? That would be unlikely. . .unrealistic and not what even you would consider an answer to your concerns.

Good question
I personally believe that gun control is using both hands.
My country gives me the right to bear arms, and i firmly believe in that.

you would have to have them made is some sort or fashion as pictures, so they, the crooks, could understand it. apparently
the crooks couldn't grasp the concept of the sign in my yard
"survivors will be prosecuted".

They might as well put a sign up that says, "Come Steal My Stuff!". Smart, very smart.
