Does this sound feasible?

I have been reading a lot of questions on here this morning and also external links. And suddenly dawned on me what a high profile case this is, quite possibly the highest profile there has been in a very long while.

Do you remember the OJ Simpson case in the states, where the courts had problems finding members to sit on the Jury due to the fact that everyone knew of him and couldnt be guaranteed as unbiased?

Well, just what are the chances that the whole reason that Gerry and Kate have made this case such high profile, is not to raise awareness of the missing 4 year old (who btw, I feel dreadfully sorry for), but instead to cloud the judgement of everyone, and make it virtually impossible to find a jury of people to sit at the hearing.

Ok, what i have said could be a load of old tosh, but its possible isnt it?

. . . a moot point as they do their jobs regardless of public pressure and opinion, should we start a YA petition to bring back dave s and get rid of the more vile users on here who post real filth about the McCanns and that poor little girl?

Poor old KAte..

Tired of her 'hysterical' children... struggling to bring up three children on te wages of two doctors...LIFE MUST HAVE BEEN A STRUGGLE...

on holiday, after a hard day of dropping kids off at kids club and then having to pick them up again...(poor woman must have been exhausted)

then!! she wants to go out and get pi ssed with her husband,.. Whos playing tennis (well come on, what hard working father doesnt need a break from three hysterical children?)

'Bed time kids...take your pills so I can go out....you'll be quite safe here...Im giving you just enough so you'll be comatosed until im finished with dinner... What? well if you wake up, just sit quietly and read, until we get back...of course you'll be safe, daddy will check on you and then one of our friends will listen at the door...NO WORRIES...SLEEP TIGHT!!!! '

I dont want a load of cr ap about how innocent until proven guilty... Shes already guilty...she left her toddlers alone... they deserved more

Just read a question that went something like 'ha me and dave s told you so, the mum did it''
I mean seriously since when did certain people on Y!A think that their opinions matter more than anyone else????

I have an opinion but its a just a tiny drop in a HUGE ocean

I think some people are letting this case take over their lives, when are they going to realise they are spectators, nothing more, nothing less

It's known now that Kate is going to be called again by the police to answer more questions after reading in her diary how 'fed up' she was about Maddie's excess of activity and not having any help from Gerry.
The McCann' spokeperson has refused to make any comment. Why now? They love to make comments about anything: acussing the police of framing them, about the funding, etc but now they dont want...hmmmmm

I have never understood all of the criticism against her. She ran/cycled and raised a lot of money for charities and there were even people who would phone her at home and say she was lying about having cancer. How cruel is that. I wonder how those people feel now...

Doing all the things she did probably prolonged her life as she was given 7 months to live so why did people dislike what she was doing..?

Can we really be positive over this? There was the case of the girl and boy out in Australia that caused a lot of doubt in people's mind when the body of the boy was found and the girl had claimed that they were attacked or something like that by a lorry driver. The man was later found but the girl was a suspect for a very long time and later proved innocent .

We have literally been bombarded by the media with all aspects of the Madeleines disapearance and now Kate and Gerry's suspected involvement.

What single thing has most swayed your opion of the whole McCann case ?

are proved wrong,
what would they feel...?
Shocked, silly, let-down ...um.."NAIVE...at worst"...

BUT if those who DO accuse the McCanns of murder, are proved wrong,
what would they feel?
Would GUILT for the vindictiveness they have vent on an already grieving family,
rent their hearts & eat at their lives forever?

Which category would you wish to fall under?
Um...people who sit on the fence, generally get poked...

Most people I talk to say I should feel sad about 9-11!? Why? People die every day and no one cares about them, why not? I asked one of my friends and he said I should feel bad because so many died. Lots of people die every day! Most people in 9-11 died fast, think about the people who die from being stabbed and shot, slowly dying in pain every day! What about those people?! How can you feel bad about the people who died on 9-11, and not the people who die every day?! People say they didn't know about the people who died, because they wern't on the news. People are shot & stabbed every day! If 9-11 became a holiday it would celebrate one of two things (An act of terrorism or The death of thousands of people.) If we made 9-11 a holiday, why don't we just celebrate when we nuked Japan and killed thousands then? Or better yet when the Munich Massacre happened! It just makes me mad people feel bad for those people, but not the people who die every day. I don't understand it!

We read that the whole McCann saga has divided both the UK and Portugal and even Europe into 'Pro' and 'Anti' camps.

Have you ever known anything like this before in your life time ? which camp have you fallen into ? Has the issue caused divide even among your friends and family ? and what is specifically that divides you ?

Now's the time to convince the Indonesian Muslim Extremist that the earthquakes they are experiencing is a message from God telling them to convert to Christianity.

A few years ago, they exploited the tsunami as a message telling them to favor Islam.

How would you exploit an earthquake?

I am very much anti-violence. I didn't like the idea of going to Iraq, and I don't like the idea of staying around there. But does anyone else think it would be a HORRIBLE idea to leave right now? I mean, we went over there, uprooted the one thing they had going for them (peace, albeit at the cost of freedom), and now we want to leave the place in shambles? The US overthrew their government, unsecured their borders, destroyed their peace, and now it seems like we're leaving them in their greatest time of need.

I think America should stay involved, at least to restore the peace we uprooted. I heard that over 100,000 (some or many innocent) Iraqis have died because of our ideas, the least we can do is help them rebuild.

I also don't think we should force a specific government on them. If they want to have a constitutional monarchy, or even a regular monarchy, isn't that up to them and not us?

Please be kind to me. I'm just wanting to get others opinions, not start a answer war.

Question Details: to put out a fire and after it is all said and done you find that your valuables are missing? I used to hear stories that firemen are thieves but recently I had it happen to me where I had a small basement fire. The Yonkers Fire Department showed up, extinguished the flames and left. A hours later I noticed that some of my jewerly was missing. They went through the whole house checking for what they called "extension." Anyone else have a similar story?

Not sure what to do, it is a substantial amount of jewelry that has since gone missing.

Yes, your politicians and the corporations are making major cash on this. Yes, the war is for oil. (Which war hasn't been for resources or US interest?) But more deeply, we messed Iraq up, promising Iraqis liberation and a better way of life. (Again) Which of you - especially those of you who've been there - think abandoning them to civil war and ethnic violence is what right looks like? If our dead friends could speak, would they appreciate the political blather?
