The police are stepping up the pressure day by day. Now the McCanns may even have to give away their twins to the authorities.
You think they will break down under the pressure and confess?
In case you find time, here's a poll:

My take is, they'll break sooner than later.
But dish up another strange story.

Everytime I get bored with whatever I'm watching, I switch it to Fox News and it's like a heroin or cigarette addict getting there fix.

I never used to give a toot about 24 hour news networks until the events of 9/11/01 occurred.

he was trying to tell people not to worry because the Americans are "winning" the war. Even though the most important US army general in Iraq said we are losing, Bush still claims in his speech we are "winning" and will continue to "win". what do you think of Bush's speech? is he lying just not worry americans about the losing in iraq or do you think he is telling the truth and we are actually winning the war in iraq. Your thoughts please...

Also he said by this christmas more than half the troops will go home i know a lot of people are happy about this especially the anti-war people but do you think that will be justifiable in the long run?

(The US Army's highest-ranking uniformed officer has warned that without more men and money, his active duty force "will break" under the strains of operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.)

I think Bank of America has gone too far. I think people wil avoid their ATMs and use other ones.

B of A is hoping other banks will raise their fees as well. What do you think?

I am extremely appalled at how the book title is presented. The publishers and O.J. are making a mockery out of the deaths of Goldman and Brown.

Hopefully all book proceeds will go to the victims' families since they have only collected under 10k of the 33 million dollars they are due from o.j.

Surely it would be a simple procedure to get hair samples off the McCann twins and get them analysed by toxicologists?
That way, G & K might be exonerated of the accusation that the twins were continually doped up to the eyeballs...

The Public and the Media have really been backing this story in a big way. Why? I'm not too sure. She is, as people have already said, no different to any of the 20,000 children that go missing every year. I personally hope/believe that Madeleine is safe somewhere, and that nothing to macabre has happened...however... Can you even begin to imagine the mood of the nation if it transpired that, as some Portugues papers have said, Kate McCann is indeed involved. I mean, what if she had been involved? We would all be taken as mugs! What concequences would prevail?

Can I have other's opinions please?

In his book "The Day of Islam", author Paul Williams asserts that Al Qaeda has already smuggled in multiple nuclear devices (at least 7) and is planning to explode them simultaneously in the following cities: New York, Chicago, Miami, Boston, Washington DC, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas.
Has anyone else heard about this 'American Hiroshima' plan? Does anyone think it is something al Qaeda could pull off?

I'm trying to find out about something that happened in 2002 that's not in my state. I emailed the library in the city that it happened it to see if they could look it up on microfilm (if they have it) and email it to me. Is there any other way to find it besides the library? It happened in 2002 in another city/state. Any ideas? I don't know if they'll even do that for me at the library, and if they do, how long it will take to get an answer. I need it now!

As we know, many people do not possess common sense, so it is very important that this jury have common sense to make sure Spector doesn't get away with this senseless, most violent crime. Does it really make sense that Lana Clarkson was so depressed that she would reluctantly accompany Spector to his place and he begged her to and she finally gave in, only to pick up one of his guns and blow her own brains out suddenly at a total stranger's place?

Why is it taking the jury so long to render a verdict? I hope there are not stupid jurors on that panel. Maybe they are just awaiting until tomorrow, Friday to give the verdict because it's the weekend.

What do you SMART and common sense people think?
