They both seem equaly suspect to me.

The one report I saw stated that the Mother was irritated at the children because she wanted to go out that evening.
But I do agree that whatever happened both parents had to know.
In the States there is a little girl's death that has never been solved, and also both parents were suspects, in that one. So sad, in this day and age that such as this goes on.

i watched The Trevour McDonald Program about the Mccanns another little girl disappeared 7 miles from where Maddie disappeared that was in 2004 her mother said she has been abducted.She is serving 16 years for murder little girl has not been found & she told her ex husband the police beat her untill she confessed also its the same copper that is in charge of Maddie's disappearance.

Because we might have another Susan Smith on our hands. I am very suspicious of her. Most of the time in these cases it's the mother who kills and I think she did it. We may never know that truth but it's awfully funny they stay in Portugal for months, and then the day after they are named suspects they run back to England. Just someting to think about...

I am still holding on to hope that someone stole her that really wanted her. The parents should both be under suspicion, as there does not seem to be anyone else...One or the other of them knows what happened.
