Surely it would be a simple procedure to get hair samples off the McCann twins and get them analysed by toxicologists?
That way, G & K might be exonerated of the accusation that the twins were continually doped up to the eyeballs...

If it was as simple as that I am sure it would have been done long before now. Appreciate there seems to be a slowness with the case and we tend to play down the role of the Portuguese but surely we have faith in our British experts?

So far the McCanns have not been formally accused or arrested and the police have no power to do anything without their permission.

We expect the police to find the guilty but tie their hands so they cannot do it.

That's true, but this whole thing happened in May. Testing hair may not do any good by now.

Good idea......but they are doctors...they would know that certain drugs are not detected in the body after 'X' amount of hours,and certainly would have used that type of drug.
