As we know, many people do not possess common sense, so it is very important that this jury have common sense to make sure Spector doesn't get away with this senseless, most violent crime. Does it really make sense that Lana Clarkson was so depressed that she would reluctantly accompany Spector to his place and he begged her to and she finally gave in, only to pick up one of his guns and blow her own brains out suddenly at a total stranger's place?

Why is it taking the jury so long to render a verdict? I hope there are not stupid jurors on that panel. Maybe they are just awaiting until tomorrow, Friday to give the verdict because it's the weekend.

What do you SMART and common sense people think?

RoVale, I said this question was to be answered by intelligent people. I did not ask you to go point by point into the history of the case, and no, Phil Spector did not say he "accidentally shot someone". He said "I think I killed someone". Get it right.

Why you decided to go into the background of this case is beyond me because you did not answer my question. Everyone knows who watched the trial what has occurred. The only thing I mentioned is that I hoped there were intelligent, common sense people on the jury, not your rendention of what happened where you put your dense spin on things.

I think he'll be found guilty. He has a long history of mental instability, a fascination for guns, and hostility towards women. I don't know if she actually knew who he was since she was born after he produced most of his hits and he has largely been out of the public eye since the 1960s. She was a B-movie actress who had recently fallen on hard times due to an arm injury which made it difficult for her to work. What acutally happened between them that night could have been anything. He probably lured her to his home for sex and it turned out she didn't want it and started to leave. Why she agreed to go to his house is anybody's guess. That's one thing I've wondered about all along. Anyway, it looked like he didn't like her rejecting him so he pushed a gun into her mouth. I don't believe he actually intended to kill her, though, but just to scare her. The gun went off and he then reportedly went outside with the gun still in his hand and told his chauffeur that he believed he accidentally shot someone. I think the only way he could possibly get off is if he is found not guilty by reason of insanity.

I believe the evidence more than proves his guilt, but you never know what's going on inside that jurors' room. While waiting for the OJ verdict, I just knew the verdict was gonna be guilty, I thought "how could it not be?" but it wasn't. Nothing surprises me anymore.

I think that the trial will either end in a mistrial or dropped.
