I don't see anyone blaming Iran for "all" the failures. it's combination of lack of political progress by the Malaci govt, iran interference, sectarian and ethnic struggles. The failure isn't a lack of military power by the U.S. - in many ways, success in Iraq is somewhat out of our control. It's bad there, but not the catastrophe that some seem to think - when compared to other wars. A single battle in the U.S. Civil War had more fatalities than the entire Iraq war - the Korean War in total had as much as 10x as many.

To the question does the US blame Iraq or Iran for all the failures over in The Middle East and not take any of the blame itself? Answer is no. We are not that stupid. We think there is plenty of blame to go around. We do believe in share and share alike.

Failures? Iraq is a success story,.Saddam and his cronies are dead or in prison,.the genocide of the Kurds,.has been stopped,. Iraqi's , now more than ever before enjoy freedoms and rights they had been denied ,in the past by Saddams Dictatorial Rule,. So i disagree with you about U.S. failures,.and in my opinion,. the Simple freedoms and human rights that the Average American enjoys,.are taken for granted,..by some,.some who seem to have forgotten what makes the USA the land of the Free and the Home of the Brave,. I am Proud be an American, .. I hope this helps/

There is no doubt in the mind of any well educated and well informed individual. The US is behind most of the world's problems in its zeal to assist big business to make money. There would be no problems in the Middle East if the Yanks and their money grubbing moguls would stay home.

No. Look, I don't like him either, but blind hatred doesn't get us anywhere. It was merely a sound-off backing to Patreaus' reccomendations. I happen to agree with the General.
