It seems that they are building up a physiological profile of Kate as her state of mind that mind may have contributed to the outcome, if it was accidental manslaughter, maybe overdose.
Sounds like there could be many charges against them even if they can get off the possible manslaughter charge, charges of neglect and reckless endangerment with drugs or illegal prescribing etc. If the drugs charges are true at least they will be struck off by the GMC.
They may well have lost any confidence patients have in them anyway.
Good question have a star.
The spokesperson is quiet as they may well know that she has a bit of a temper so it may be difficult to comment without an outright lie. If after all it is what Kate wrote in her diary then it is hard to contradict. Anyone with three young kids would have a hard job, not recommended for volatile people.

Makes sense in a way, but the doctors present should have known the correct dosage of the sedative. My colleague's aunt once went to the same resort & says it is known as a place for 'swingers'. What I don't understand is why it's still in the news so much.

Wow!!!!
Surely you would have got rid of that, if you had any sense?
Phil McCann said on the news the other day that she suggested that Kate keep a diary so that Madeleine would know they were still looking for her, and her families anguish about her being missing etc.!
So, she must be lying, because the diary was written before she disappeared!!
And now the focus is on them they don't want the limelight any more!
STRANGE!!!!

Okay, scenario number 1:
They are guilty, and they now feel they have no way out.
Scenario nr 2:
Thay have tried to speak to the media, they have tried to frase their sentances in formal way, they have coped under stress for so long, and they feel that no matter what they say, it only makes the case worser.
If they are innocent, the bahaviour is more then normal. Their privacy has completely disappeared, kate's diary is more hot then "Hello", and they can't go anywhere without the media.
If I were innocent, and the case went so far, I honestly wouldn't have a word to say to anyone anymore.
But then again....who knows.

The parents are guilty. Why is she refusing to answer questions? At the end of the article it said Maddie had consumed sleeping pills.

Speculation - we don't know that was written for sure.
The spokeswomen isn't aloud to comment on the case, if she cam out and said something unrelated to the investigation, such as " they had a good night sleep, they had a nice trip to the park" or "they are holding up well and the twins are doing fine", you wouldn't be happy with that either!
I think we just need to have patience, let the investigation be carried out and stop speculating and branding them guilty before that has been proved.

that is peculiar.it also mentions on sky news that police have been urged to stop the investigation into the McCain's because of similarities between Madeleine's disappearance and an 8 yr old girl from the same area years ago

they said they would never leave without maddy ,alive or dead, but soon legged it back to u.k when the finger was pointed at them.the police will never get to the bottom of it as the crime scene was trampled all over by everyone and their brother from the minute she went missing and all forensic evidence was contaminated
