Networks like foxnews, cnn, and several more papers keep slamming iranian president Ahmadinejad very brutally. What has he done? i don't know and thats why i ask. He visited columbia university to make a speech and i don't see anything wrong in that. There is an accusation from pro-war and other war loving groups that he sends weapons to iraq to help insurgents. How can we forget that WMD allegations were made on sadam the same way and it turned out to be wrong. Without showing any proof or evidence, those same people that said sadam has tons of WMD now accuse Ahmad of helping iraqi insurgents. I don't find any allegation or any kind of attack on Ahmad credible at all. He is anti-gay and anti-jew, but terrorist too? It seems another war is being planned against iran like iraq and in coming days more and more allegations would be put on Ahmad by war lovers so that second war can be justified. You get that feeling too?

It upsets me to watch politicians fight with WORDS in the United Nations building because they're not the ones who will be fighting with GUNS when we invade Iran. Are we going to invade Iran?

I am almost certain that that photo is a fake. What do you think? Please notice the edge of the "mothers" arm just beneath the chin of the supposed Madeleine. It is too sharp because it has been doctored.
Please look at the picture and then please me what you think.

I refer to this piece of news " A photo of a girl in Morocco is to be examined by experts looking into the Madeleine McCann case"

China and India are the countries which hold the key to Burma's/Myannmar's future.

China is the junta's main political backer and both China and India have pursued significant investments in oil and gas projects as well as supplying arms to Burma [by by- passing an EU embargo ] .So their interest in this country has been based upon placing their economic interests first and simply ignoring the human rights infractions.

Of course it is not India who will be hosting the Olympics next year but China.. so why not boycott the Olympics to place pressure on China and other ASEAN [Association of South East Asian] countries to take firm action on Burma?

Olympics have been boycotted in the past. This is not a new phernomenon.

I understand that there is some controversy about the above statements that have been attributed to Ahmadinejad. Some Persian scholars claim that his statement about Israel being wiped off the map, cannot be translated that way from the Persian language. Also, there is no statement regarding an incitement to genocide that I find, even though scholars say that he is guilty of incitement to genocide. Can someone clarify these statements as to their accuracy?

CNN did a peice about Bill O'reilly, like him or not it was false. He was telling a story about his grandma fearing black people an it was against racism, in fact the guy on his radio show, an African American was outraged how CNN outright lied. The people from Bill O'rerilly called and told them the real truth and that he wasn't making racists comments, in fact he was talkng about how bad racism is, and CNN still did the story anyways. It was some militant website that actually was the one who gave CNN the story but they still did it even after they found out it wasn't true.

If you're outraged, put aside your feelings for O'reilly, and write cnn, go to cnn.com and go to the contact us link at the bottom., you can also for the www.fcc.gov

I was in journalism courses and this violates ethics and it's not acting in the public interest as journalists are expected to do.

It's one way to get rid of hypocrites isn't it, like the ones who say the Bible is the word of God, but won't even follow the ten commandments. They ignore " Thou Shalt Not Kill", when they want to go to war, execute criminals, keep a gun in the house to shoot burglars. Oh, just one other example that they ignore is Exodus 35:2 - For six days, work is to be done..........WHOEVER DOES ANY WORK ON THE SABBATH MUST BE PUT TO DEATH.
Who needs crazy hypocrites that pick and choose which parts of their crazy Bible they will obey? Maybe G. Carlin was making a good point since he was not killing them himself but letting them kill each other.

Many Americans are very cocky and they are acting as they are higher than any other human beings. That's the truth. Only a very small percentage of Americans that are nice, maybe only 0.01% of them are nice and friendly. They think just because they were born as Americans and can act anything they want and treat others badly?
Even, the American employees of businesses that deal with customers are acting differently with customers who are not Americans. That's discrimination! They said they don't discriminate anymore and they have the best customer services, blah blah blah... However, it's just words that come out from the mouth and not the real fact.
They said they have the best human right, but the truth is showing differently. You want an example? The example is Guantanamo Bay Prison. Those people being held indefinitely without going to the court. Some of those people are not even guilty, but they are in prison indefinitely. What do you think?

First of all, he is a President and second of all he is a guest in this country. He was supposed to be respected as a guest from other country and the University of Columbia's President just showed the world how 'FRIENDLY' America is by insulting the Iran President before he even spoke.
This is terrible and lower the image of America than ever before. Even though he is a bad President, but he has done nothing wrong to the US and he is not supposed to be treated like that.
It would make the America as a bully than as a good country.
Now, he remained calm throughout the speech and that's a true gentleman because he could calm himself even though he was insulted. If an American in other country was insulted like him, the American would act out of control.
Now, the Columbia's President just showed the world how to treat Americans in other country. How terrible is that? Don't you think the world was watching? What do you think?
