It upsets me to watch politicians fight with WORDS in the United Nations building because they're not the ones who will be fighting with GUNS when we invade Iran. Are we going to invade Iran?

iran does have possible nukes and at minimum WMD are there -- which means no war. iraq and afghan never had any weapons, wmd or bombs so invasion was possible -- same with somalia and vietnam. no power in its right mind would attack a country which has a significant military size and weapons -- the costs and casualties would be way too huge to justify war.

It is entirely up to Iran. The world can not live together with a lying threatening megalomaniac. We have already found that out many times over. Further, we can not wait for a first strike by fanatic, hateful, religious, brainwashed, self-proclaimed enemies. We were slow to understand that the Islams are at war with us. But once the realization became obvious, what is there to do but fight? Clearly, there is no common, middle ground to discuss the 'problems'.
The UN is the primary forum to try to discuss the matter. But that has failed miseralby, just as 'Achmajabad' has reassured the Columbia U people that he is insane.

We shouldn't invade Iran unless Iran decides they are going to to destroy us. I would not be the first to start the war but I'm not going to sit on my fanny and let some cave dwelling (nuke toting if they have them) crazy idiot try to kill me. Peace is something that is hard for them to understand.

hey, what part of we shouldn't invade Iran did you not understand, bad rater?

I think the West are missing out on opportunities to build a peace with Iran and bring peace to the Middle-East. Its a shame.

Where are all the diplomatic skills these days? :-(((

Considering that the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq are floundering, I would say American would be most likely to not wish for a third defeat, particularly with a country that can fight back.
