If you look closely the hair is in a different partain and the fringe is windswept so it has not been "DOCTORED" to be a fake from the campaign photo. It has to be her how many morrocans have got blonde children??? Oh yeh none unless they were snatched. Get out there and bring her home.

I respect that as a hairdresser you are right about the hair not being altered. However their are other explanations
Some Moroccans do have blond children - I used to live there - usually if they do and they are totally Moroccan their hair turns darker around 5 to 7 - like some ethnic irish and other children in fact I have gypsy roots and was born pure ash blond but went very dark between 5 and 10.
But there could also be many other explanations for why they are carrying a blond child –
Below is only one that I am very aware of
i.e westerners have been going to Morocco for many years and living there with native Moroccans
................ this was especially common in the 60s and 70s on the 'hippy' trail when I was there - partly because cannabis grew wild in Morocco, I do not know if it still does as the last I heard they were going to eradicate it as a wild weed
( In a way it was a bit like Thailand is now and believe me there are many Thai's born now that have some western genetics and some do have blond hair!!}
Have you read the book - Hideous Kinky ( link below) or seen the film? which was about this time when Western young people, both men and women, flocked to Morocco on the hippy trail to live with Moroccans, as Moroccans and like Moroccans - including having relationships and sex. At one time, before it became cheap enough to fly further afield if you wanted to travel outside of Europe Morocco was the place to go.
You did not even have to fly ( as in those days flying was too expensive for many young people - but there was even a twice weekly minibus service to Morocco from London called the 'Magic Bus' That’s how I got there...............
hundreds of kids from England in search of 'exotic' adventure did as well, and many had relationships with Moroccan people (especially the lads who thought it was exotic and adventurous to have a 'thing' with a Moroccan girl - there was no HIV then) Many children were left behind..... and their children are still being born.
This is an era of Morocco travel that unless you were there it has been mostly forgotten
But to me because I was there it is no surprise to me that a Moroccan family is photographed with a blond child
Consequently there are literally hundreds of first, second or even third generation offspring in Morocco with 'white' English, European or USA roots - so this family could have western genetics.
I actually do hope that this is Madeleine - but due to what I know of Morocco I really do not think it is

I'm afraid it looks doctored to me.
Get a copy of the highest resolution image you can get off the internet, zoom in close to the image of the little girl. The boundary between sleeve and the girl shows small arcs (ie where the boundary has been sprayed in), look at other areas of the picture where there is just fade to the background. The lower edge of the sleeve comes round the bottom of the face but the folding pattern continues without a change this indicates that the face image was dropped over the sleeve/shoulder..
Also have a look at this link
http://websleuths.com/forums/showpost.php?p=1699397&postcount=26
The image has been rotated slightly but the aspect has not been changed ie both pictures would need to have been taken from the same hight and direction to match without changing the aspect.
Hope I'm very wrong!

There are many many many photos of Madeleine all over the web, not just the one campaign photo. I think you should leave the detective work to the experts, they are the only ones qualified to establish if it is real or a fake.
Edit:- I think you are getting the responses you are getting because you made a statement as fact when you know as much or as little as everyone else on YA at the moment. You might have got less avasive replies if you had said "could this photo be geniune" asking the question rather than implying that you know for a fact it is not a fake!

the photo may not be doctored but its probably not Madeleine either. There are lots of children who have blond hair. That could be a picture of anyone - not necessarily Madeleine. I do hope they find her, but I dont think she is still alive and if she is god knows what she has been through.

Living in Spain I can tell you that I am always surprised how many Spanish parents have blonde children. Have a look on the abundance of life in the sun type programmes and you will see that blonde is not reserved for Northern Europe only !

is anyone saying its fake< i thought the question was is it maddy? as for how many blonde white kids are in morroco, there are lots of them. lots go there visiting there grannys you know every year. it is where most english people seem to be buying houses in the sun after all. mind you if she was older and blonde she would have lots of men hassling her in morroco.

It doesn't have to be a fake, but, I don't believe the picture is of Madeleine. I think the parents & the authorities know it isn't her also.

I applaud your confidence, but doubt your sanity. Your 'evidence' is complete rubbish - do you not think that if someone seriously wanted to 'doctor' a photo they could not get someone's hair to look a bit different??? And how many English/ Western white people have got black kids? Er.... quite a lot really.....
ADD:
Right, so it HAS to be her eh? News has just reported they have traced the girl in the photo and guess what... it's not.... are we feeling a little silly now????
