. What is the most feasible solution to this terrible problem? What is wrong with most of the solutions out there today? Please note, my question isn't about who has the best claim to the land, but how to get out of this situation.

I'm an independent & agree on some things with each major party but who agrees that if democrats are going to try to point fingers & put blame for the Iraq war on republicans though democrats also voted time & again in support of it until public opinion changed then democrats "own" or are to blame for Vietnam & the 58,000 americans who died & thousands of wounded from that 10 year war. Which was started by JFK with adviser then increased by him & of course the bulk of the war & commitment to it coming during LBJ who also was a democrat. So while I disagree with trying to put blame on anyone for either war if politicians are going to be children & try to pass the buck when things get bad then Vietnam is theirs as well as failing to come with a better plan for Iraq since they control congress & for cutting the military during the Clinton empire which helped to lead us to smaller military today. Who agrees? Dont forget democrats claim a majority & mandate yet can't get anything done LOL.

Ok I'm off, my time on YA is done. I leave you with three points and the final question.

1) thanks to all who have answered my questions whether I have agreed with you or not, thanks also for the stars, and thumbs for my answers too.
2) Despite it now being over 5 months since Madeleine disappeared. I hope she is found, and found alive and well.
3) I don't know to what extent Kate, Gerry and the Tapas 7 were involved in Madeleines disappearance, but they are self confessed serial child neglectors and should brought to book for that.

My question is really over to you to give you a chance for that parting comment before I go ?

Take care its a crazy world out there.

ps with matters get fragile over Iran I may re-emerged on the Washington Post News Forums, we will see.

I was shocked by people saying they'd grab Madeleine McCann if they saw a child who looks like her.

I TOTALLY understand calling the police and immediately alerting people, and even following them so you know where they are just in case, while waiting for the police to arrive.

But if you 'grab' or snatch a kid who you think looks like Madeleine, what the hell do you think will happen if it is not her? The parents will clobber you and you could be arrested.

I just wondered.

Why are Canadian GM plants shutting down due to U.S. strikes? It would make sense that if anything it would provide more work opportunities in Canada. Also, what are these strikes over?

But I bet they bloody live outside our capital, every day I get up and go to work and to get there I have to drive through what looks like little Bangladesh or some town in Poland!!

But its alright isnt it coz we are a politically correct country!!! What would happen if this country was engulfed in war and people were dying on the streets do you think these immigrants would stand and fight with us for freedom?? or would they then run home..

The programme "Esta Pasando" on Tele 5 in Spain have just interupted their programme with news and photo of a possible sighting of Madeleine in Albacete Spain on 31 Agosto. The photo shows an arab woman from behind and she is carrying in her arms a little girl who is looking over her shoulder. I have to say the photo looks VERY like Madeleine. We shall have to wait until the experts check the photo out. They have had it for some time now, but I have to say it does look like Madeleine.
