I think there hopeless foolish and can only hope that the men that get involved with when and if they do get out of prison realize the chance these women took with them and really straighten there lives up.
I also believe that women do this out of some desire not to really have a man around but is ok with the relationship the way it is, confined, restrained and "safe". I think the women who do this have there own issues as to why, I don't see it as being so called normal behavior.

I have read some books on this subject because I find it absolutely baffling that someone would involve themselves with a convict. They feel that they can help the convict and that they're special because they're the only one for whom he/she will change and so often that the person was innocent or that the victim prompted the offense. It's amazing how needy and dependant for validation these women are and how easily manipulated and willing to believe.

I think the only thing WORSE- is prisoners GETTING OUT and marrying Women! :)

It's risky. A high percentage of convicts return to prison after their release. It's a free country but we need to be responsible for our actions.

I would say that in general, that is buying trouble. On the other hand, people can change and if you do have a good relationship with someone who does not have have a violent past and is going to be reacclimated to society, then it might be worth the risk. Just be careful.

Even serial murderers of the most gruesome type, have no end of women falling for them. I have given up trying to understand women.

I think they are trying to invent the ideal man. They like bad boys, men that they can "save", men that can't have physical affairs on them with other women.
