But I bet they bloody live outside our capital, every day I get up and go to work and to get there I have to drive through what looks like little Bangladesh or some town in Poland!!

But its alright isnt it coz we are a politically correct country!!! What would happen if this country was engulfed in war and people were dying on the streets do you think these immigrants would stand and fight with us for freedom?? or would they then run home..

I bet they'd scarper quicker than you can say illigal immigrant!!!!

Whats your views??

all the people that are up for them coming here are labour luvies and business men who have them working for them for less than min wage. they wouldnt fight for the very country that feeds them and clothes them and gives them a health service for free they would scream their human rights would be violated!!!!! elizabeth if they worked fair enough however the town i live in we have about 8 polish families all living in free council houses (when people who have lived in the town all their lives cannot get a council house due to the lack of houses although when an immigrant family needs one there is plenty available) living off benefits and all they do all day is stand in the street touching up school girls as they try and get to school and the last time somebody called the police the usual tripe about being racist was shouted that not economic migration that coming here for a free meal ticket and the easy ride and lack lustre laws we have fopr them send them all back if they dont want to work thats my opinion!!!!

We need to close the floodgates now, enough is enough. We are only an Island after all, and we are over populated as it is, I'm sure the government think we are the size of America!!!!!!

We have a bad enough housing problem as it is without letting more Immigrants into the country and then having to house them, when people that have been born and bred here can't get housing on the local council housing lists. Even the private rental market has been affected as they are taking that over as well. And then there's the employment issue while the legal ones are working it's a job that an English person could do (when I say English I don't necessarily mean white English anyone that is born and bred here and is classed as English!!) And the illegal ones should obviously when caught just be sent back to where they have come from, to many of them claim political asylum, while some are genuine most use it as an excuse to get into this country. They come here because we make it easy for them basically, they see England as an easy touch. Until the government has a zero immigration policy this will carry on, they need to close the gates. I am not a racist just fed up with this small Island being flooded by so many immigrants.

I have no problem with people coming to the UK to contribute to society here. My issue comes when people step onto our shores then start claiming benefits. What have they contributed to the system? They don't even integrate with where they live. As you mention Little India etc. However I also wouldn't be here if my Irish grandparents hadn't arrived at the end of the 2nd WW. but feel that this is different as there is a common cultural heritage. For example Irish, Polish, Czech, Italian etc all have a shared european history. These contries Languages also often share roots. Not to mention a Christian history. However the new imigrants share very few historical features with the UK and arriving here and doing very little to join the society they have traveled so far to settle in

You sound English but if you are talking about America, immigration has always been part of our history. However there are many factors determining immigration such as health issues, criminal history, skills history, quotas requirements to name a few. The word illegal should be clearly understood by all that there are important security reasons that make laws necessary. Even employers and politicians are ignoring these laws and making it difficult for everyone else to abide by them. We have aborted 40 million babies and we now need employees to keep expanding the economy. Social engineering has backfired and greed is no excuse to allow lawlessness to go uncontested. God demands a just society so we need to quit compounding our problems and start obeying His instruction. Slave and drug smuggling is the hidden agenda of NAFTA. The coercive elements of our shadow government are resposible for this. NAFTA was signed in at the end of a legislative session, and hardly anyone had read the 20,000 page document. The families of these people as well as us are suffering the consequences of this lawless activity. Only national repentance and a national awakening to the things of God will reverse this. Similar things are happening globally. Psalms chapter 2 talks about this.

I have no doubts that some of them would stand and fight with us. Probably most would run.
While on that topic, almost 40,000,000 people called Americans were foreign born. Add to that those whose parent(s) came to America or their grandparent(s) and there aren't that many American Americans! No wonder the natives were upset!
I blame the Liberals: the Liberal Congress (my entire life, no less! and I AM O L D !), the Liberal Supreme Court (for more than a century); and, especially, the Liberal Media. We are not supposed to protect ourselves against the invading hordes of illegals: their families might be broken or they go hungry or they don't get good medical care if we shut the door on them!
All of you aliens: if you want to live in this country, serve in the armed forces or similar.

and to be honest, if this country were engulfed in war and people were dying in the streets, i think half the british male population would scarper too........

Labour, the party for the working class?
Say what you like about the Tories, they have done some insane things in the past but damn they would NEVER have allowed the country to get into this state.
Vote Labour? I'd rather eat my own eyeballs.

Also...this European "human rights law" is a joke, I believe that Blair let it go so that his wife (a human rights lawyer) and her cronies could capitalise on it.

To be totally honest I am more concerned with the state of the National Health and people dying in our hospitals because they are dirty. It also concerns me that once again the farmers are suffering due to disease. We can not blame Foreigners for this. Can we?
