1) thanks to all who have answered my questions whether I have agreed with you or not, thanks also for the stars, and thumbs for my answers too.
2) Despite it now being over 5 months since Madeleine disappeared. I hope she is found, and found alive and well.
3) I don't know to what extent Kate, Gerry and the Tapas 7 were involved in Madeleines disappearance, but they are self confessed serial child neglectors and should brought to book for that.
My question is really over to you to give you a chance for that parting comment before I go ?

It's a bit of a stretch to call the McCann disappearance "the biggest and most extraordinary child abduction story in history", especially when it isn't known for sure that it even was an abduction! I can only assume this reporter isn't old enough or well-read enough to know about the Dutroux case in Belgium, or the Moors murders here in the UK, both of which were far bigger stories and certainly more extraordinary. The McCann case on the other hand is interesting mainly because of what we don't know about it rather than what we do, hence all the "what really happened?" speculation about it (not to mention the conduct of the parents both before and after the disappearance). If Madeleine McCann is a media icon then that says more about the state of the media than it does about the McCanns, our society, or this decade.

I conccur with your point three as will most that Madeleine is soon found both alive and well. I think she will be and very soon.
Take heart that you have learned a great deal the short time you have been here and take with you the fact that will learn from your mistakes. This will have given you strength of character and the will to live when the life gets tough as it surely will .

As for the McCanns and the Tapas 7, maybe we will never know unless the Portuguese police know more than they are revealing...
The McCanns abandoned their child and they are responsible for her disappearance and I hope justice will be done... Time will tell but I have a feeling they will get away with it and live in the lap of luxury for the rest of their lives, displaying their vile smug faces all over the place.......
