What's one more mad man to deal with? We got rid of Saddam the Insane; the Khomeni Allatollah kicked the bucket, Marcos is dean and gone, Poppa Doc and so many others. The "president" of Iran is just another one.
It isn't that he doesn't believe the Holocast happened; it is the way of politicians: they lie, lie, lie, knowing if people hear the lie over and over and over they begin to believe it.
Partial "truths" is also a lie: the Holocaust was not just about Jews; 10,000,000 died, including Russians! Check it out.
Me, I would prefer they line up all those terrorist types against the wall and give the order!, including that so-called president of Iran.

Why not. I mean really think about it, everyone knows he's here. He's being watched liked a hawk.
I have watched him on a couple of TV interviews and I don't like the way he comes across. I don't like the look on his face when he talks..........I don't feel as though I can trust him as far as I could throw him. And I don't know if I believe his heart is in the right place regarding the US. I think (and yes this is my opinion) that he's being deceptive. But that could just be me and my ignorance regarding how the people in this country come across to us, and I might be selling him short. But I think I would still be cautious just the same.

I thought it was unnecessary for president of Iran to come to Columbia Univ. This is the man who believes that the Holocaust never happened.

It's a free country, he isn't on the most wanted list to the best of my knowledge. So why shouldn't he come here? It's good to get him on our turf and then have a debate and be sure that he hears our opinions.
All we know about Iran is what we see on US TV. How do we know we are getting an honest assessment of the man?

I feel very embarrassed. At least the NYC Police Dept. had the discipline and fortitude to stand up and say "No. He's not allowed to visit Ground Zero."
