The odd mistake is forgivable but 618!!!!!
Would I want him near my children? No.
Sounds very much like he was covering his own butt and taking the easy option.

I quite agree with you. Diagnosing an illness in order to prescribe the correct remedy goes to the heart and core of being a doctor. A doctor is a (health) problem solver and if cannot do that then he should not be allowed to practice.

Definitely,he didn't just get it wrong once or twice. He seems to have issues with epilepsy.I reckon he has all the traits of having Murchison by proxy, why else would he prescribe epilepsy medication to so many children. The blokes obviously a nutter or specialised in that area and knows nothing about being a doctor.
I'm glad my children don't get headaches often!

Yes, one misdiagnosis could be deemed as a mistake but 618 is gross incompetence.

He should be required to repass practice certificate or some such. Re examined for his medical cert.
