I just love how right wingers accuse me of 'hating freedom' because I oppose the war in Iraq.

When U think about it the poeple who cross the boarders every day commit crimes ranging from misdemenors to felionies. do we as a country have the right and responsiblity to prevent and detur any and all crimes both domestic and foriegn? In regards to the Dog he was doing the right thing there is no way the federalies or the us should be in the middle of this dispute. the whole thing is a trumped up charge, if the people in charge of the la jail couldnot keep this man in custody the why was he allowed out ?? They should have made him surrender his passport and other papers and submit to eletric monitoring. As far as me and my boyfriend are concerned "Dog" was doing his job and then some to keep our streets safe from preditors like that.

Why or Why not? I feel that we should have 6 months of standard time & 6 months of DST, so it's more balanced like before. It used to be from the 1st Sunday in April to the last Sunday in October, but now starting this year in 2007, it's the 2nd Sunday in March to the 1st Sunday in November.

Price of oil is dropping...yet gas prices are rising...??!!

Don't get too excited about alternative energy prospects. Not only are the laws of physics non-negotiable, but the forces that be will make SURE anything that comes on mainstream will be MONOPOLIZED...see the increase in corn prices? Tied to Ethanol production(which is basically worthless "filler" to stretch out volume).

So if we go Solar to re-charge batteries for electric cars...a solar grid will NOW be...$10,000.

Look at the price of diesel...costs MUCH less to produce than gas(and they use a LOT of this stuff in industry), yet strangely enough, it costs about 50 cents MORE than a gallon of regular gas(Big-Oil did NOT want you to see any real savings in your MPG, so they took it out of your pocket right now).

I can ONLY imagine what a battery pack wil cost at the Toyota dealership when that Prius battery pack goes 86...half the cost of a car?
