When U think about it the poeple who cross the boarders every day commit crimes ranging from misdemenors to felionies. do we as a country have the right and responsiblity to prevent and detur any and all crimes both domestic and foriegn? In regards to the Dog he was doing the right thing there is no way the federalies or the us should be in the middle of this dispute. the whole thing is a trumped up charge, if the people in charge of the la jail couldnot keep this man in custody the why was he allowed out ?? They should have made him surrender his passport and other papers and submit to eletric monitoring. As far as me and my boyfriend are concerned "Dog" was doing his job and then some to keep our streets safe from preditors like that.

It is up to the American government to stand up and tell the Mexicans to bugger off on this one. To think they actually want to try him in a Mexican court for depriving Luster of liberty, just boggles the mind. Dog followed procedure, had a Mexican officer present as required, then was hit up for another bribe. The Mexican lawyer told him to go home and it would be taken care of, then tried to hit him up for a bribe - $250,000.

I like Dog because he is able to see the good in people and genuinely wants people to improve themselves and their lives. While I support him and hope that he doesn't have to do time in a Mexican prison, I don't agree with his decision to get Luster without getting approval from the Mexican Government. He needs to realize that U.S. laws don't apply everywhere even if your actions seem justified. Can you imagine if some foreigner came to the U.S. and broke our laws and tried to justify it by saying his actions aren't considered illegal in his homeland? Regardless, I still hope they let him off with probation. I would hate to see what happens to an American celebrity bail bondsman in a hardcore Mexican prison. Yikes!!!

i think he is a cocky bastard who thinks he is all that-but then again im glad he went to the extremes to catch the bastard he did.
Still, he should have known he was breaking the law himself. He should have covered his ***. He went too far.
