No Russia and China are the biggest of our opponents. Iran is the mouse that likes to roar. In reality they will be eliminated from the world scene from the turmoil within. Once the Oil card plays out for them it is all over and they will return to a backward third world country. When they can no longer afford to pay off France, Russia and China things will become vastly different. Remember the big guys go where the money is. All you have to do is look at France to see how cheap a country can be bought.

Our biggest enemy are the countries that threaten our existence - and in this point in time it would be states supporting terrorism such as Iran or others that would want nuclear weapons soley as a bargaining tool. BTW you will get a lot of people saying that Bush or ourselves are our main enemy but if you think think I would challenge any one of these "so called" informed people to live in a country like the aforementioned for a year they would have a change of heart. The real difference between this country and many others is that the sorely uninformed people can continue to critisize, with no other ramifications other that people will see there lack of maturity and education on subjects as opposed to being permanently silenced.

Yes, they are. When I say they, I mean the ruling government. The people feel differently than the gov't, the majority of them being young adults. The gov't of mullahs and, of course, current president Mahmoud (I'm a madman) Ahmedinejad, are stoking some serious fires right now. The prez has been very bold the past few years with his thoughts and intentions. It's reminiscient of Hitler and his book Mein Kampf. Like Hitler he states his ultimate intentions right off the back. Hitler said in no simple terms: kill the Jews and take over the world. Iran right now stands at a serious crossroads not only for themselves, but also for the world. The stage is being set. The western world is a glutton for oil. Iraq is no longer a serious threat with Saddam gone. Saudi Arabia, the world's largest supplier of oil, is a ticking timebomb for a revolution against the ruling royals. Russia is debt free and cozying up to Iran by backing it's nuclear program. America is stretched thin fighting on two fronts. Iran stands poised to stir up a hornets nest of trouble. Iran is funding and supplying Hezbollah in Syria to vex Israel and indirectly the US. They are also doing the same with Shiite insurgents in Iraq to vex the US. Iran is sitting on the second largest oil reserve in the world. Saudi Arabia is number one. Together Russia and Iran are numbers one and two respectively in the natural gas world reserves. Now they want nuclear power. The set-up is ripe for Iran to throw its' weight around and they haven't disappointed. If they get nuclear power they are just a stone's throw away from having a nuclear bomb. If they get it and increase their partnership with an increasingly unfriendly Russia then they will become a threat to the region and to us. I would not put it past Russia and Iran to try a sneak attack using a nuclear device against the US. With us out of the way they will be the Superpowers of the world. If you don't know your prophecies then know that this deadly partnership is coming. Ezekiel 38-39 speaks of a coalition of nations involving these two nations and others. It speaks of them by their ancient names, Rosh/Magog and Persia. I won't spoil the ending for you, but know they will be defeated. I believe this is the year of major changes for the world but know that Iran is not going to be our friend anytime soon, if ever. Not as long as their holding some serious cards in their favor. It's only a question of when they are going to push the first domino.

No we are our own biggest enemy-we have the knowledge and ability to be so energy efficient that we could stop all oil imports and let countries like Iran wither on the vine. But we fiddle while we burn up oil. When will we wake up??

No I do not think they are... The country to worry about is China! have you noticed were almost everything we buy comes from... This country is enormous and if it ever becomes completely organized it will be the next number one world power.. IT is already almost there.. I find it so interesting how so many years was spent fighting communism and now we (as in North America) embrace China, ignore all the human rights issues going on over there and hand them money hand over fist for crappy products that fall apart days after you buy them! (sorry I am ranting)
But in answer to your country I think China is the biggest worry.
