Why or Why not? I feel that we should have 6 months of standard time & 6 months of DST, so it's more balanced like before. It used to be from the 1st Sunday in April to the last Sunday in October, but now starting this year in 2007, it's the 2nd Sunday in March to the 1st Sunday in November.

It's just makes it more confusing. We have always observed the regular change from DST to standard time. Suddenly, spring forward becomes earlier, when it's not even spring yet. Fall back becomes later.

By the time you get to October, it becomes very hard to wake up in the mornings, because it's still so dark outside like nighttime. You have to wait until Nov. to fall back, which is kind of tough for me. Iam more eager to gain an hour of sleep by falling back, than losing that hour by springing forward so quickly. Now it's 8 months of DST & 4 months of standard time.

Iam not happy with this idea, & I'm surprised that I'm going against the majority of people who voted in favor of it. Why do many people like it anyways enough for our govt. to implement it so soon? It's what I don't quite understand.

I would like it to be left alone one way or another, just don't change it...

No matter what ordinary people think or say about it, the gov. does it for business purposes, and to save energy which makes sense. Personnally, I don't really like when we "loose an hour" and by the time your system is use to it; that is again time to put the clock back and extending the time is good because it gives us more time to ajust one way or the other. Time should not be changed at all and we would live with it!
