I usually pretend I can't hear very well,
or i have a sore throat, and have to talk quietly,
or when they ask for my date of birth to prove its me, I give them a different date,
or just say hang on and put the phone on top of the tv.
WHAT DO YOU DO?????????

The only difference to the outside will be replacement garage doors (to patios) My garden is surrounded by high hedge, so nobody would see. Its going to cost a bomb to get planning...is that right? Can I go ahead anyway?

At first, they didn't bother me, but they must be multiplying, because I had to shake 2 of them off my clothes this morning!!! They only seem to be in my room. Any suggestions of how to get rid of them?

Water grass is the only name I know it by, I live in Missouri and it is VERY prolific here. How do you get rid of this stuff? I have tried weed killer and reseeding, nothing seems to work. Any suggestions? And, what the heck is the real name for this stuff?!

I am living in a country as a permanent resident which only citizens are allowed subsidised housing. I have to rent a flat at market rate. This flat as advertised is rented from the government is not allowed to sublet and is against the law too.The owners are old couple living with their children. I went to view the flat and many people from Thailand/India also keen. But the owner's daughter offers to me because I look like the locals and wants to avoid suspicion from the neighbours. The flat is $650 per month with bedroom/hall/bathroom, washing machine, water heater, aircondition and fully furnished. I told the lady I can't afford and I asked for $500 and she agreed. Earlier the real estate agent told me this flat has no contract or paperwork because it is a government's flat and she only can issue me a receipt. I wonder if this is the right way. Should I accept the flat? Tomorrow I have to pay the deposit, can someone tell me what I should do? This is too good to believe.

I don't like spiders, but cellar spiders aren't very scary to me. Still, I'm not sure I want them in my house. My internet searching indicates they do no harm, and may even kill harmful spiders. But all I've read says they usually build webs in damp, out of the way places, and there are a few in our new house that build a little too close for comfort, like in the corner near the bed, or near the bottom of a wall instead of the top. Mostly I worry about one of them crawling on me or falling on me, or me accidentally putting my hand in one's web... But, if they help kill other bugs, like maybe some of the mosquitos that seem to get in, maybe I should let them stay... Ideas?
