I've always wanted to grow indoor plants, but whenever I get one they die within a few weeks. I do water them, and try to keep them in the sunlight, but it never works. I need something that is not posionous (I have a baby) and something pretty with easy matinence. What do you suggest?

Ivy would definitely be the best bet for starters.

buy a good quality plant in a larger size so roots are nicely established. do a little reserach and find out what the plant likes as far as water and light. usually indoor plants prefer to be wateres well and then left to dry slightly.
