I don't like spiders, but cellar spiders aren't very scary to me. Still, I'm not sure I want them in my house. My internet searching indicates they do no harm, and may even kill harmful spiders. But all I've read says they usually build webs in damp, out of the way places, and there are a few in our new house that build a little too close for comfort, like in the corner near the bed, or near the bottom of a wall instead of the top. Mostly I worry about one of them crawling on me or falling on me, or me accidentally putting my hand in one's web... But, if they help kill other bugs, like maybe some of the mosquitos that seem to get in, maybe I should let them stay... Ideas?

See, things like that hobo spider are why I don't like the things! But I live in the southeast and they're apparently northwest dwellers, so I think I'm safe...

they must have a good food supply to be there.
Vacuum up any that are intrusive. leave the rest.

Yes, but cellar spiders can also provide food for other spiders..

killthe ones in your house but leave the ones in the cellar or if u do not have a celler just kill the ones in the obvious places! actully if you want to have fun go spider hunting : )

even even with the undeniable fact that I have a phobia of them and surely hate them i'd a lot favor to set them loose than kill it. this is really unhappy to kill something to satisfy your own desires. purely because it can not be extinct does not advise you could kill it. i could say a similar with a human even even with the undeniable fact that you cant extremely research both! Lol

keep them...they do get rid of other bugs...and if they arent in ur way...like upstairs or anythink...there really is no problem...id keep them...lol...
