this question is kinda dumb, but i gotta kno what else to think about then this: we might get to move into this really cool house, but we might not, cause someone else might buy it before our house is sold... and im really getting my hopes up but im trying not to but i cant help it!! what else can i think about???

I know how you feel. You start imagining yourself in that house, where you would put your things, how you would decorate ... and then you find out it won't be yours. This has happened to me several times. All I can tell you is what friends told me when this happened, "It wasn't meant to be. You'll find something else that you like even better." Just tell yourself if it is meant to be your new home, then it will be. If not, it's only a house, not a person you love who you are losing. When I find myself obsessing over little things (and in the big picture this is a little thing) I think about big things that would really upset me. Put it in perspective.

That's a tough one because you really can't help getting excited. It's normal! Maybe you can think about landscaping or gardening, because you will have to do that no matter which house you buy, and it has to do with the outdoors... not the house itself.
