You can call a bee keeper to come and remove them that is the safest way. To just destroy it is a waste. bees are good for honey and spreading pollen. check the yellow pages or ask some farmers they usually know where u can locate a bee keeper

You can do one of 2 things:

1) call an exterminator (best idea): find one that uses pyrethrin, which is a natural chemical that comes from marigold plants. I did this 2 years ago, it cost me like $65 bucks or less, it killed them all, and they never came back.

2) get inside your house, run a garden hose inside.. point it at the hive and fire away till it falls down. Make sure (!!!) that all your windows are closed, and don't plan on going outside for 4-6 hours at least. After they finally leave the area (in a few days), spray where the hive was with bleach, or else they will smell the scent of the hive and come back next year.

Your choice. #1 is way better, I've done both!

Search for an exterminator. If you try to knock it down to get rid of it yourself, you could get seriously stung or worse if they're killer bees.

If they are honeybees try to find a beekeeper who would come and take it away for you. Bees are in short supply these days.
