I am moving to a new place and I dont have enough time to tour the apartment. Is there anyway that I can know how old the aprtments are. I checked some photos of the apartments but all of them seem good but I dont want to base my decision based on just that. Suggestions please....Thank you

I have a really nice fridge that we need to get rid of. It's a kitchen aid, white, great condition. We bought a totally new set of appliances. I don't want to give it away, because I know someone out there would pay for it, but i haven't had any luck in the local paper or on ebay (pick-up only). Are there businesses that will buy old appliances?

I am looking for the manufacturer of a locking Colonial mailbox. The Brand Name is: "Assembled in USA from imported components." I found the name AMCO associated with the mailbox but cannot find out what this stands for either. Can someone help me find this manufacturer? I would appreciate any help. Thanks.

would it not make more sense to build a more solid block house... i know the weather is hot and the timber houses keep are cooler but surely air conditioning is cheaper than having to re-build a house and their lives from scratch......... why?????????

My high ceilinged house in Fiji is infested with gheckos. They seem to do little to control the mosquitos and do not lend themselves to being house trained i.e. they excrete on us from a great height. I don't want to kill them e.g. bring in a cat or use poison but they are no longer welcomed.
Please help.

Does any one know "about" how much it would cost to buy a double wide mobile home and have it moved on a lot? need atleast 3 bedrooms, number of baths dont matter, aslong as it has 1 :P, or any sites that will give me a estimation. I live in CA and went for a nightly run and happened to look down in the ditch and there was this curled up two-tone snake like a light yellow and orange. He was HUGE! I took off. LOL. What kind was that and should I be more aware of snakes at night. I thought they go sleep in hole when it gets dark.
