I have a really nice fridge that we need to get rid of. It's a kitchen aid, white, great condition. We bought a totally new set of appliances. I don't want to give it away, because I know someone out there would pay for it, but i haven't had any luck in the local paper or on ebay (pick-up only). Are there businesses that will buy old appliances?

When you set it out for sale, make sure it's turned on and freeze some water in it. No one is going to buy a ref. that isn't turned on. You would be luckey to get $10.00 from a used appliance store.

Have a yard sale and put a decent price on it. Right now there are a lot of college students looking to outfit thier dorm rooms, apt, etc. Yard sales is where they mostly go looking for stuff. It'll get snatched up in no time flat.
