Does anyone know if Santa Cruz, California is a good place to live in?What i mean is if its a safe place for a family to live in (2 ADULTS, 4 YEAR OLD, 14 YEAR OLD) and also if its an entertaining area to live in, and if its an economic area ($2500or less)??Does anyone know??.

My husband and I just bought an old house (1910) and are replacing all the windows. We noticed almost all of the windows here are hand poured glass. Does anyone know if they would be worth anything. Thanks

There is a squirrel that lives in the mature trees in my front yard. He has a very unique appearance, with a black chin and under his head down to the top of his chest...its black and the rest of him is brown. Not a real fluffy tail and he's lived here since I moved it, about 10 years ago. Can anyone tell me about him? What kind of a squirel he is? I cannot seem to find any description of him any where on the internet.

It's amazing how much clutter you can accumulate over time, letters, photos, nicknacks, foreign currency. They end up taking up too much space, but it's hard to throw them away.

Every spring/summer I get an infestation of very tiny gray spiders. They are always on the ceiling in my home. I am looking for a natural way to get rid of them as I don't want to use pesticides in my home. I live in Minnesota and have never experienced this problem in any other state. I need to use something non toxic to both people and pets. I have been using an oreck bug vac but would like an alternate solution.

what do you do? Anything at all... Recycle? Buy recycled? Put a filled gallon jug in your old style toilet tank? Re-use plastic bags?
Some of the things you do that actually help the environment in the long run are used as money saving measures... Have any ideas the average busy person can do to help a little everyday?
