Every spring/summer I get an infestation of very tiny gray spiders. They are always on the ceiling in my home. I am looking for a natural way to get rid of them as I don't want to use pesticides in my home. I live in Minnesota and have never experienced this problem in any other state. I need to use something non toxic to both people and pets. I have been using an oreck bug vac but would like an alternate solution.

I live in New England and we get hit by them every year the first two weeks in July. I keep fans on and lights off as much as possible. I have never found a way to get rid of them. I use a vac too to clean up at night and in the morning. They're miserable!

I live in Massachusetts and I also have them this time of year!
I use a swiffer around the ceiling to take down the webs that form like cocoons in the corners and wipe down the spiders.
The spiders don't really bother me though, If I lived alone I would leave them alone. No harm done, and they eat fruit flys and fungus gnats so prevalent this time of year!

if you get some hedge balls from hedge trees and put them around and under you house this will help keep them away. Don't know why but I know it works.
