thought about moving to oregon maybe the eastern part. Any one know about land availability and prices prefer smaller town maybe 50,000 people and info on weather would be nice

Most of eastern Oregon would love to have 5000 people in a town. Closer to the mountains (like Bend) things are growing like crazy, but you might look at Madras for starters.

Oregon is beautiful country. Southern Oregon is in my opinon better than the rest. Property is going up all the time. Weather in the southern regions is less rainy as well.
