There is no definitive answer to your question. There are simply too many variables that you have not identified. One thing is for certain, geothermal is fairly expensive to have installed, and the financial payback can take many years to realize. Of course, if natural gas prices rise sharply and do not subsequestly fall, your payback will be quicker.
