My high ceilinged house in Fiji is infested with gheckos. They seem to do little to control the mosquitos and do not lend themselves to being house trained i.e. they excrete on us from a great height. I don't want to kill them e.g. bring in a cat or use poison but they are no longer welcomed.
Please help.

Gheckos are after bigger bugs than mosquitos. They woulden't be there if they did't have something to eat. Get rid of all food sources and they will starve or leave. If you can hit them with a fly swatter it will only stun them. Pick um up and take them outside.

Try to get rid of the mosquito's and hopefully the gecko's will follow them. Bombing the house regularly with a recognised mosqitoe killing formula is the best course.
