Our pool has been condemed for 3 years and the developer has 4 communities sharing this one pool. He advertised for 4 seperate pools. We would like to sue him for the overpayment on our house and for fraud, We are in Jonesboro, GA. Anyone know an attorney that can handle this? He will probably get

The home owners should band together and file one lawsuit as a class action. That way the attorney costs can be equally shared by all participants making it more affordable and all will share equally in the monies won. This also prevents duplication of multiple lawsuits. The bar association will be able to give you the names of several attorneys who specialize in this area of law. If you don't live in a larger type town, I'd go to the next (closest) large city and hire an attorney there. They will have more experience handling this type of thing than a smaller town attorney who maybe has never done one.

I would say have a neighborhood meeting and hire a single attourney to represent all of you. It should be a fairly easy case, make sure he doesn't charge a high percentage.
