we only moved in on march 28th.its in north wales.10 mins walk from the sea.(which i love, but i HATE seagulls, they are so loud at 3 in the morning.)
i live in a terrace, ex-council. it has 3 bedrooms plus the attic has been converted.(we only need 3,so it still gets used as an attic.)
my kitchen is my fave room, it is black and white, with lovely grey walls. all the appliances are chrome and black.
my frount room is really warm and cosy, chocolate and magnolia walls, with chocolate cutains, suite etc. and spanish pine units.
the bathroom is aqua, white and blue.
my eldest son's room will be a space themed room. with a tent from the celling in black with glow in the dark stars on the inside over his bed, the walls are a grass green, and will have planets hung from the roof. etc.(when he is 10 i will do him an army theme. to be a bit more mature for him.
my youngest son will be one soon, and i was going to do him a jungle theme.but i have recently changed my mind, an dhave decided to do an "under the sea" theme, with blue walls and shiny fish on the walls, that will be tactile so he can touch them. (he hasnt got any special needs, i just think babies should be encouraged to feel things and learn.) i have it all planned out. i am an interior designer. and luckily my hubby is an interior-exterior decorator.
we dont have a front orback garden, they are concreted over. which is sad, cos' i like gardens. but the house is on a cul-de-sac so its a safe place for my kid to play with the 3 neighbours kids.
hope ithelped.

I live in a barn that was built in 1870 and was remodeled so half of it is a 2 bedroom apartment and the other half holds motorcycles, a pool table and some winery equipment.
The views are all vineyard and the theme is recycled. Every piece of furniture, cabinets, counters, flooring etc is all from flea markets, garage sales or the freebie section of the paper.

My house is a three bedroom and the motif is Hunting. I reupholstered my couch and recliner in camouflage and made camouflage sheers for the windows in the living room and the kitchen is done in a wooden barn board type of material with curtains that I made that have a bunch of camping scenes on them. Now if only I could make some camouflaged carpet I would be in heaven. and the living room has a darker paneling. It is very rustic looking, which is what I wanted, so it reminds me of my cabin up north

Mishmash of antique-y stuff from my boyfriend's deceased great aunts. I'm dying to remodel, but I don't want to step on anyone's toes.
Until then, I'll suffer through the giant metallic pedestal of a plant stand; the beautiful marble-topped cofee table with the hideous gold-painted wood base; the yellow, black and blue bathroom with the turquoise toilet and canary yellow toilet seat (no, I'm not joking); and the random, frightening paintings of a pirate in my living room. *shudder*
