3 in the living room & 2 in the Bedroom, (no water source in either. there is sure no moist place in my closet, or around and under the couch. Were I live its approx. 115 in the shade. (no joke). Also I thought that scorpions developed pigment before even leaving the mothers back. All five of these are White White. See through white, and they move faster than those little feild mice. I know that the female has approx 25 babies and for these 5 to be found on opposite sides of the house. I think I have at least another 15 more to go. (well 16 the last 1 got away to fast) I have baby kittens & dont want them to get hurt, A couple of the kittens have already tried to play with that scorpion. I don't want them poisened either,, So Any help would be much apreciated. Q&A Does baking soda repel them at all? or was that ants? Are they Deadly? How do I locate all of them and kill them or can I repell them with something from around the house thats not toxic to babies human or feline?

I've never had one before, so I'm probably not taking good care of it. It is in a glass right now in tap water, sitting in the sun. Should I be using distilled water, or some mix of water and fertilizer? I really don't know.

It seemed to thrive best when it was part of a small fishtank, but the fish are now all dead.

We have three refridgerated units and three electric heaters on a very well insulated two bedroom house (one in the kitchen, one in the living room, and one between the two bedrooms) and when in the kitchen, we close off all doors and turn on that unit, when we leave we turn it off, same for when we are in the livingroom (where we spend the most time) and at night we close the door between the living room and the bedrooms, turn on the unit in the hall, and leave our bedroom doors open. My question is, are we causing ourselves to have a higher electric bill this way? Should we invest in central heat and air, which controls the temperature of whole house? The units we use are fairly new and claim to be electric-friendly, but I will admit that it is a little bit of a pain in the butt to keep turning units off and on. Initial comfort of entering a room that is too hot/cold is not a concern. Thanks in advance & have a great day.

The landlord is selling my house to me and has offerd to do several updates prior to the sale. I feel strange making a counter offer to his asking price. Is this a normal procedure when buying a home?

I have a LG 32LX1D LCD TV, Tivo Series 2, Sony DVD player with Component Outputs, and a Comcast CableCard, and an old-school VCR, all of which I would like connected. (No special audio considerations, for now).

What's the best way to do it? The Tivo does not have component outputs (not HD-compatible) so I'd like to run S-Video and Composite Audio to the TV. Can someone help me figure out how to wire this?

And, how does the Comcast Cablecard work? I realize it plugs into the TV, but is there a cable running from the Cablecard to the TV? Or to another device? Thanks for the help!

I have bought numerous pillows but cannot find a comfortable one. I tried to buy one from a hotel before but they wouldn't sell it, it didn't have a label so I wasn't able to try to find one like it but it seemed to be medium firmness.
