Is there any restrictions on how high you can put your fence to, in your rear garden, with neighbouring properties either side. Will 8' be ok ? (uk question)

I live in Canada and laws vary. Height may be governed by city by-laws. I suspect 8 feet would be too tall unless it is of a natural plant such as cedar.

Call your city hall before building.
