Best advice is to hire the services of a professional exterminator. Roaches can be extremely difficult to get rid of and I know of no "home remedies" or other solutions that work.
Good luck with your problem.

Well I don't know about any homemade solutions. But i do have a cheap one. You can buy 'Chinese Chalk' and it kills cockroaches. I am currently using it, and it is great. Also, it only costs about a dollar for four pieces. Another solution is to get your house sprayed for about 100 dollars. You can also buy those sticky traps for about 3 dollars, and the spray is about that much too.

Call a professional exterminator to identify the type of roaches so that a proper treatment strategy can be put in place. Different roaches require different treatments.
Your families safety should be of utmost importance. It would be irresponsible to spray pesticides indiscriminately and possibly harm pets or people.

Get your house professionally sprayed at least twice a year if the roaches are bad. Clean your house up and never keep food out or damp items laying around.

roaches hate rubbing alcohol. if you can find where they are coming into the house/out of the walls into your living space, i suggest soaking some cotton balls in rubbing alcohol and stuffing it in the hole. if you don't know where they are coming from, try wiping the floorboards with the rubbing alcohol.
i did this in my old apartment and never saw a roach again. there are also roach traps similiar to ant traps available at the grocery store, which should help with the infestation. the rubbing alcohol should help keep them out of sight.

This isn't natural, but combat roach huts work great. They are also safe for pets.
