We found an all green caterpillar (color was uniform and a little lighter than grass green), with no hair, bigger than a human thumb, and it was more than 3 inches long. It has built a cocoon and been there for 2 days now.. I'd like to know the scientific name for this caterpillar? Thanks!

Is there an alternative to cutting the root (which would almost certainly kill the tree)? Can I cover up the root with gravel and/or blacktop or will that also kill the tree? Also, what are my legal rights and liabilities? (The tree is on my neighbor's property.)

I have 9 stalks of lucky bamboo potted in its original ceramic container about the size of a large coffee cup. On the picture it came with it shows bamboo that is curled. I was wondering if mine would curl and if it does is there anything I need to do to help it along?

I have seen more spiders in this house than in any house I've lived in before. There not dragging me off or anything,but I see them on a daily basis. I'm looking to buy my mom a sewing machine. She's sewn all her life and I always remember her having a Brother and other similar machines growing up, but after she and my dad have moved so much, she no longer has one and does need one. She doesn't sew as much anymore, just once in a while, but I was looking at getting her the Pfaff Model # 1016. That's about what I can afford to buy her now. Any insights would be greatly appreciated as I am not that familiar with that brand.
