yes it is dead esy to grow tomatoes in a grow bag.

1, buy the grow bag(s), A green house (your choicew of glass house either a lean too type or a full blown glass building) and the seds or the young plants along with some tomato feed.

2, assemble the green house and put the grow bag inside it, and cut it in the marked places.

3 plant either seeds or the little flowering plants you can buy from any garden centre. add canes to the grow bag and tie the plants too them as they get bigger.

4 water at least twice a day early in the morning and late at night when the sun is at it's weakest. they need about a half a pint of water each watering per plant initially needing more as the plants grow and the fruits develop. use your best judgement as to what amount of water to give. you are aiming for the soil to be just right, not too wet and not too dry. this is achieved when you stick a finger in the soil and too wet your finger comes out covered in mud. too dry your finger comes out as clean as it went in. just right your finger appears to be almost clean with just a few grains of soil (looks like black sand) is intermittent on your finger.
When watering make sure to water the soil only and not the leaves aas this can scorch the leaves leving the plant in an unheathy state producing fewer if any fruit. you should also during hot spells get a misting gun to spray a very fine mist over the plants in the hotest part of the day, to help keep the plants healthy. i know it sounds contradictory, but a fine mist from a short distance is healthier for any plant than a heavey water drop from a watering can or hose pipe

5, feed at least once a week preferbly every two days.
sit back and wait for the fruit to become ripe then pick, wash and eat however you like.

If you pick the right variety of tomaoto and choose your location well, it shouldn't be too difficult at all. Once they've flowered, you want to make sure they have enough water. Once you start to see tomatoes, make sure they get an even amount of water. Having a steady water source is important if you don't want cracked tomatoes. In a grow bag, I would try some of the grape tomatoes. They are small and so sweet, even sweeter than cherry tomatoes, and they produce a lot! Well worth it.
Good Luck

Tomatoes need heat. They grow mostly in Greenhouses unless you are in a warm country.

Grow-bag, food, plenty of water, and heat is all they really need.

The vines grow, flower, green balls grow and these become your red, orange or yellow tomatoes (Oh, I could do with a yellow tomatoe right now).

yes, use a cane and ties to stop it from snapping with the weight, keep pinching off the side shoots to stop the plant using all its energy on making new leaves, tomato's will grow from where the flowers were, you will get bigger tomato's if you feed it regularly.

There are lots of good answers, but nobody gets it all right in one place. D nickolls is the best except he forgot to mention pinching out the top of the plant when the 4th truss (stem of flowers) has got little toms on it. I think they do much better in buckets though.
