When fishing near water lillies in the evening, we have heard a "snapping" sound all around us. The only thing we can figure out that it could be is the water lillies flowers closing. Does anyone know if thats what it is?

We are leaving the UK and will have most of our electrical goods up for sale. Because we are still using them (items like the washing machine, fridge etc.) we have to get rid of them at the last minute.
What's the best way of organising a garage sale and are there any legal ramifications - especially in regard to the electrical goods?
Many thanks in anticipation of any response.

I think my son's SSI number is being used by his grandmother (my x's mother) to get section 8 housing. I don't know anything about section 8 so that is why I have came here. She is by herself and can she get section 8 just her alone or does this require for her to have a child on disablity as my son is? This woman got kicked out of her other section 8 housing program before and she had her other grandchild staying with her from her other son. Any info will be apperciated.
This woman is a very wicked lady and can lie her way out of a paper bag.

I have twin girls and at the moment I am storing all their items from when they where babies in a medium size trunk well the trunk is full and we havent even made it to kindergarden yet plus I was thinking I need two seperate storage containers one for each child that way when they get older they can each have their own box of memories. any ideas on what kind of storage containers I should use? F.Y.I. we are a little cramped for space so anything to big or bulky will not work.

When we moved into our apartment, we couldn't actually see the apartment first, only a model. It's infested with roaches, spiders, and ants. We've been living here for 7 months and our lease is up in January. My mom has been putting off hiring an exterminator, and it's just disgusting here. I'm literally afraid to eat anything that's not in the fridge. What are some sure fire ways I can scare the crap out of her( true things) and get her to hire an exterminator?

Since I can't seem to find an Insect section at Yahoo! Answers, I figured I'd post my question here.

I live in the south, and it's very hot and dry here right now, and I noticed today I have ants all over the place. They're not fire ants or carpenter ants...these are what I call "sugar" ants...the tee-tiny black ones. They seem to be conglomerating around water areas (bathroom sinks, bath tub, kitchen sink). Does anyone know a saft "home remedy" for getting rid of them? I say safe because I have two young toddlers who are into EVERYTHING. I would put down ant traps, but I'm worried my kids would see them as toys and try to eat them or get sick from them. Is there anything I can do to get rid of these ants?

For the past week, there have been a ton of little black bugs that can fly (about the size of a sesame seed) crawling around in my pantry. I find them on the ceiling and on the floor (about 20 or so per day).

We came back from a month of vacation and the bugs have been here since. Does anybody know what they are and how to get rid of them?
