The warning tag attached to the valve seems pretty serious. We have a friend who says he'll replace it, but this seems like something that should be left to a professional according to the tag....How hard is it?

The hinge on the door has worked its way loose and the door is hanging off. The holes the hinge screw into on the cupbards side are worn so are too big to screw the hinge back into. I tried filling the holes and then screwed th ehinge back in. This worked well for a few weeks but then came loose again? Is there another way of fixing the door? Are there any hinges I can buy that can be screwed straight onto the door?

Hi guys, thanks for your answers to my last question about my shower, these really helped and it could just be a wattage problem. I'd just like to point out that my shower head is not blocked, the pressure at the sink beside the shower is really good, and that the shower pressure has steadily being getting worse over the years. Just thought i'd point these out too, in case it made a difference. Could it be the unit is blocked? Ive heard this is a likely reason too. thanks

We have our florida vacation home, which we use for a few months every winter, the rest of the year it sits empty. So the toilets dry up after a few months, then bugs, rats, and other creatures get into the house through it.

Any ideas on how to get them to not evaporate, or stop the bugs etc from coming in while we are gone over the long period?

The water builds up at the bottom of my dishwasher, and I have to scoop it out with a can. there is no visible blockage, so I'm not sure what's wrong. Does anyone, especially a plumber, have any ideas of what might be wrong? Would something like LiquidPlumr work?

My washing machine has been doing this for months now and the only way to get it to stop wobble wobbling is to lift up the lid and move the clothes around, but then it just does it again in a few minutes. It does this really bad on the spin cycle and I usually have to turn it off completely. Any ideas? It's driving me and my neighbor crazy. Please help!
