The hinge on the door has worked its way loose and the door is hanging off. The holes the hinge screw into on the cupbards side are worn so are too big to screw the hinge back into. I tried filling the holes and then screwed th ehinge back in. This worked well for a few weeks but then came loose again? Is there another way of fixing the door? Are there any hinges I can buy that can be screwed straight onto the door?

best way; drill a holes 3/8" about 3/4" deep, glue up 3/8" dowels and tap into holes, cut off excess, when dry, drill pilot holes for screws and install the screws. it will be as strong as new. easiest way; fill the holes with glue, fill with wooden toothpicks, let dry, saw off excess, make a small finish nail hole in the toothpicks, force screws in. temporary fix, will likely fail again. good luck, hope this will help.

Get some JB Weld. Ask for it at any hardware store. Follow instructions fill oversize holes wait for it to cure. (I prefer the 24 hour stuff)Put original screws in. I bet you never have trouble with it again. Good luck.

Don't know how astetic you'd like to be but you could just move the hinges 1/4 of an inch up or down either way. It shouldn't be that noticeable

Get in touch with the original kitchen company (if you know them). In my experience they fix things like that 4 free.
