RE:
Why does my washing machine shake like crazy and go "wobble wobble wobble" like it's possessed? Any ideas?
My washing machine has been doing this for months now and the only way to get it to stop wobble wobbling is to lift up the lid and move the clothes around, but then it just does it again in a few minutes. It does this really bad on the spin cycle and I usually have to turn it off completely. Any...

You have the right idea moveing cloths around. But if it's really that bad make sure it's level and not off of one or two leg support's.The support's need to be all touching floor or you will get a bad, wobble ,wobble. Good luck.

it means that it isn't level. some washers have adjustable feet that can be screwed or unscrewed depending on the need. if the feet aren't adjustable, try wedging folded newspaper under them until it seems level. the newspaper will help absorb some of the wobble as well. the problem needs to be attended to because not only is it annoying but it can cause the inner workings to be thrown off balance which can ultimately result in costly repairs.

The washer is off balance. Because of this the inner tub is not spinning properly and is probably knocking against the sides. Check out your owners manual on how to balance the washer. Mine has little spin "legs" on each corner of the front which I can adjust. But the old one I had you could balance by leaning back lifting the front off the floor slightly which balanced it automatically. Again, you may find the answer in the manual.
Also, evenly distribute your clothes in the machine to keep it equalized. But I think that the problem is the balance of the machine itself.

Like everyone else mentioned, it's probably off balance and you need to move some clothes around, BUT try putting some hockey pucks under the feet. They are made of rubber and absorb some of the shaking!!

Your machine is definitely out of balance. Try lifting up the front of the machine a couple of inches and then then dropping it back down to see if this levels it out. If not each foot on each corner can be lifted and turned right or left to adjust the height of each leg. Do this by placing a level on the top lid of the machine and adjusting until its straight from front to back and side to side. Good luck!

Im haveing the same problem. My waher bangs around really loudly everytime it spins. Couple times it started moving vilantly forwrd. Ive told my landlord and he keepa telling us he will look at it but never does. Its hard to find time to do laundry because my husband sleeps during the day and our kids sleep at night. So no matter when i do a load or two someone gets woken up. Also, whats with the person who keeps talking about computers? Is he plain stupid?

Try and balance the clothes out (equal weight on either side.) Otherwise when it spins, it's going to wobble since the weight isn't equal on both sides.
Next, try a technician.
And if all else fails, try a catholic priest.
