When i put my hot water tap on, my gas meter goes at the same speed as when my central heating is on, thus my meter reading is always very high, and i dont use the heating that often. Does anyone know why this is?? It is really bugging me. I have a condensing boiler.

We're trying to decide on a spa. Inisghts/opinions on Hotspring spas (Tiger River line) much appreciated. Also, does it take a lot longer to heat back up if it's 110v (vs 220v)?

The string starter on my trimmer broke. The only thing keeping me from being able to replace the starter string is what looks to be the centrifugal clutch. How do I get this off so I can take the plastic cover that's covering the string starter off?

Everyday I find and kill several wasps. One day I found a total of 9 of them. They are primarily in my bedroom and bathroom, but have found them in other rooms of my house. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to keep them from entering my living space? How can I prevent this from happening next year?

From 27feb to 31aug we used 86cm of water. The company state thats what a family of four use and its only me and the wife here! Two showers a day (her) two baths (me) and some washing machine use.

I tried a tap test to see if we had a leak and the man came to check the supply - seems fine. Is it possible theres a leak my side that could be increasing our intake? What do I do next??! Help! Thanks!!!!

The blade is not turning I manually tried to loosen and it turned a couple of times and I was able to pull it once and then "bound" up - I really need this to mulch the leaves in the natural areas and would like to keep it going - it stopped while in use (about 1 hour) and it may have debris in side the housing but I don't know how to get anything out or into the area - this happened last spring and I just put it up for the summer - this fall I tried it and it worked so I don't know what is going on I have cleaned the air filter and added a new spark plug any advice will be appreciated

I stripped my hardwood floor and have put on one coat of polyurethane already and am waiting for it to dry. My question is, the can says I need to sand betwen layers, what would happen if I didn't sand in between?? Would it be okay to just put down another coat of poly once the first one is completely dry?
Thanks!

Try as I might, I can't get it unscrewed. It seems too tight or "off track." The lightbulb isn't busted yet--it still has its glass.

I have two washing machines, hotpoint and kitchen aide. Within the last two weeks, both of them have done the exact same thing. When the spin/rinse cycles completes and the dial goes to the off position, the water comes back on and fills the tub and keeps running. I had extensive water damage 2 weeks ago that I have not finished repairing the ceiling yet (upstairs laundry room) Last night the first floor washer did the same thing and flooded the floors again. Someone HELP!! This is tooo weird.
