my tub is not draining properly because the plug to fill the tub is broken. I was told to remove the piece thru the hole, the problem is that they are wedged together. any suggestions?

ok......there are two pieces of metal, one you can feel thru the drain hole, the other thru the overfill hole. Those pieces are stuck together. Give some real answers here instead of this crap
