I have walls that are cracking as well as ceilings and I know that my house needs to be jacked up to make it level again but I dont know where to get the jacks, how to use them and what to do when the floor joist is level to keep it there

go to your lumber place and get a jack post.

you need to place them under the supporting beam in the basement
instruction are on the box

If your foundation needs to be leveled, I would suggest you call a professional. It is not really a DIY task, and the methods needed to make a successful repair vary. You might be able to tackle any work needed to fix the rest of the house after you get the foundation fixed.
