I'm looking into buying a house, but the house would need a new well. I have no idea what the cost would be. Anyone done this recently?

This is for the, I guess, MAIN coils in the big thing in my attic, not the condenser unit outside.

Also, how often should this be done?
And how should it be gone about? Same technique if it's done yearly or if you wait till they get really dirty (say three-four years)?

I think my coils my have some issues. :( The former owners of this home had them replaced about 4 years ago.

My house is cooling for crud. It does cool but VERY, VERY slowly. Condenser went a week ago. Was replaced. Now this. Probably wasn't blowing/coolling up to snuff even before the condenser went so I'm not sure there's a correlation with the condenser unit prob. Obviously not sure though. I didn't notice really until it went completely.

I have a Craftsman riding mower with a 23 hp Kohler engine. It has been running fine until this week, when it refused to start. Battery has full charge. Replaced the plug and filters. - Let me say I am not very mechanically inclined - I did some Internet research and checked for spark. Doesn't appear to be any. What should I do next? When I place the battery on a starter, the flywheel turns slowly but won't turn over. I tried jumping the solenoid and that didn't work. Your input is greatly appreciated.

For the last few days my hall by the bathroom has been smelling like a mixture of iron and the outdoors and it very strong during the morning and less strong as the day goes on. I can see some slight water mark on the other side of the wall in the kitchen (no smell or softness found there) but I cannot figure out if the smell is coming from outside and somehow getting into my house (no windows there) or if it's mildew. How can I tell? Is there a specific type of mildew that smells like I described? PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME!!! The smell is sickningly strong and I don't know how long I can take it.

Does anyone know how I could fix this? I think part of the reason why it is doing this is because the people that lived in my house before me never used the system so all of the sprinkler heads were buried so I had to find them all and what not, so im guessing they just got dirty inside the head so they dont slide back down after the system shuts down. If anyone knows an easy way I could fix this please let me know.

I'll be using bleach for the siding of the house. If I ask at Home Depot or Lowe's they will just try to sell me something. Wasn't sure if the bleach would harm the wood.

I just acquired an old dark wood piano from my grandmother. Unfortunately, she often set her water glass on the piano. Now there are many whitish circles on it. Is there a way to get rid of them without refinishing thi piano?
