in my apt. right over my bed and my mattress got wet all the way through . Wow. Huh? I have an air mattress. Does it take long for an apt. to repair a leak in a roof? I wondered why the ceiling above my bed was turning yellow . . . looked like cigarette smoke stain . . . but I don't smoke . . .thought what . . .I hope the maintenance guy doesn't have to come back a zillion times and doesn't take too long. I have two rabbits and I think they think I only have one. I don't want anyone to use this as an opportunity to charge me a second pet deposit. Like . . .Hey, . . we saw that you have TWO rabbits. Any chance I can make them buy me a new mattress . . .like cause of mold from being wet. Wet twice cause last time I just thought that rain BLEW in real hard and far when I had the screen and not the glass door. And I just waited for it to dry. Smelled funny . . .but thought it was my rabbits litter box ammonia . . .now think it was because it was mold from mattress.

My dad lost most of his house in a fire on the 4th of July. He doesn't have insurance and is only doing odd jobs right now. My little brother and sister live with him. They are basically homeless (living in the garage) until we can find money for him to rebuild. he just needs materials...he is a contractor so he can do the work himself. Please help.

The top hinge on my door came lose from the door frame. The holes in the frame are stripped, so just putting it back on won't work. Any ideas on how to fix it besides moving the hinge or using longer screws?

The flow of water from my kitchensink SUCKS big time! It's is way low, even when I have both the faucets on. How can I fix this? Everywhere else, including the water in the washing machine, has a regular flow. No not the kitchen! It's a pain in the ****** to do the dishes, yes it's that low, like super soaker shooter low. Imagine trying to do dishes with a super soaker.

Please help me, tell me if I can fix this myself, or do I have take a trip to the store or hire someone. Honest serious answers please! Thanks!

I just moved into a new place. It has hardwood and laminate. I have always had carpet so I'm not sure of the best way to clean these types of floors. I tried mopping with a sponge mop but it just seemed to spread soap and water around the floor. I tried to not use too much water. Any short cuts to cleaning these floors?

I have a tear in my leather couch that doesn' t look too difficult to fix. But I don't want to do it myself because I've heard it's very hard to fix leather. How much would it cost to bring a professional?
